For all our readers that celebrate holidays, we salute the valor of our nation’s men and women—past and present—who sacrificed so much to preserve our liberty. We are especially thankful for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed around the world that continue working to maintain our freedom.
Among our freedom as a nation and human beings, its being able to gather together with our loved ones and celebrate as we see fit during the holidays. Whether we celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza or any other events during this special time of year, our freedom to do so has been protected by those who serve our country daily and year-round
This year in particular may have been hard for some families and Veterans with the current pandemic plus the normal individual difficulties. Holidays can mean a time to celebrate, but also a nostalgic time to remember those who cannot be with us. We keep in our thoughts and prayers all those Veterans that have to spent holidays away from their loved ones, doing their job and protecting us.
We honor all the Veterans. We honor the active duty, retirees, those who are able to be with their families, those who are in other countries, and those who can not be with loved ones this year.
Warmest wishes and hope for this upcoming year.
